I'm sure at one time or another we have all gone on-line, googled the topic/information we are looking for, and then begin reading link after link after link. At the end of it, we are probably all a bit smarter and a bit confused at the same time. Sound familiar?
I bring this up as I personally googled "what is the best mortgage product for me", and the information that was available was very overwhelming. Some of the topics covered included, variable rate mortgages, fixed rate mortgages, 25 yr amortization vs 30 yr amortization, what term of a mortgage is best, first time home buyer mortgages, mortgages if you are self employed, buying a second home for your child going to school or work in another area, vacation home purchases, obtaining an insured mortgage vs non insured mortgages, buying a rental property, the new Stress Test that is coming Jan 1/18, mortgage rate vs qualifying rate and the list goes on!
I truly believe now,more than ever before,reaching out to a Mortgage Professional is critical getting the answers and advice for your personal financial portfolio. I believe it is important to have a Professional working for you who has the knowledge and experience to explain past and current real estate/mortgage environment. I believe it is important to present options that are available to clients from several lenders at the same time and all in one meeting while saving clients the hassle and time of going from Bank to Bank, Lender to Lender.
