1. A client purchased a home and it was not disclosed until the day before poss date that both the seller and buyer were using the same lawyer. The lender did not allow this and the challenge was on to find a lawyer and law firm who could be able to start from beginnings with my client, the purchaser, and close the deal, all within 24hrs. With the knowledge of 35yrs experience, I quickly called a lawyer who I have recommended often. He was kind enough to accept the challenge and indeed he closed the deal within 24hrs.
2. A young professional couple was purchasing a home. One client had a very special employment opportunity that was starting just prior to the purchase date and would not be able to produce a paystub . The challenge was to find a lender who would use good old common sense! After the first 10 lenders said no, the 11th Lender approved the deal and our clients are very happy!
